-Bright Prospects Ahead

The President, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has assured Liberians that this year 2020, will be a year when Liberians will consolidate their gains and launch their country upwards and onwards for a solid platform of policies and practical programs that will begin to turn the economy around.

Addressing the joint chambers of the National Legislature last Monday during the formal opening of the 3rd session of the 54th National Legislature at the Capitol Building, the President said from his vintage point, 2020 which marks the turn of a new decade is the most critical year since his incumbency, noting that it will be a year of practicality and progress.

He thanked the lawmakers for their excellent contributions and support rendered during their tenure in the second seating in 20l9, adding that he is asking them to accelerate their efforts towards realizing the goals  set before them in the supreme interest of Liberia and its people.

As you commence the Third Session, it is my fervent hope that you have come back with renewed vigour strong determination, unrelenting commitment and a dedicated spirit to do the work of the Liberian people, President Weah said.
